What it costs
Meals, materials, and outings are all included. Alberta's subsidy and affordability grant both apply to licensed family day homes.
Full time
Five days a week, any hours between opening and close.
Ask for the current rate
- Breakfast, hot lunch, and two snacks
- All art materials and activities
- Daily outdoor time and park walks
- Written daily updates for infants
Part time
Two, three, or four fixed days a week.

- Same meals and activities as full time
- Fixed days, booked in advance
- Extra days added when space allows
Before and after school
Kindergarten through age twelve, including the school run.

Alberta's child care affordability grant and the provincial subsidy both apply to licensed family day homes, and most families here use one or the other. I can walk you through what you would actually pay once those are applied.
A deposit holds your spot and comes off your first month. Everything else lives in the parent handbook, which you get at your visit.
